STACK THE DECKS

EARTH DAY/ARBOR DAY CELEBRATION
AYS Academy youth paired up with the VOICES for JUSTICE group from Rockhurst University, the Kansas City Kansas Downtown Shareholders, Kansas City Kansas mayor, Joe Reardon, and many other groups on April 18, to plant trees and native Kansas plants at Big Eleven Lake.  The plants and trees were donated by Rockhurst and the Downtown Shareholders.  The planting kicked off Mayor Reardon's plan to make Kansas City, Kansas Tree City USA.

When facing difficult decisions or making life-altering changes, it helps youth to know they are not alone. When you become part of AYS support network for youth, you help them learn to make good choices and realize their greatness. And you let them know that they are not alone.
